What sites do you like, and would like your website to be similar in
different areas to.
Do you wish to use your company colours or different colours? Are

Do you want to use a background image when designing a site? There are some sample
background images you can use on the background image page, but it is possible to use
other images or modify the shades of any of the Background images.
What type of navigation system do you want to navigate your website.

Are you interested in an online ordering systems either now, or at a
later stage? For information on this, please see the webpage on E-Commerce Design.
What audience are you looking at aiming your site at i.e. gender,
income level, interest, etc? Is your audience likely to be local, New Zealand or
Worldwide? Are you designing a site to suit this audience?
What is the purpose of your site? Is it informational, education, a
business tool, etc?
How do you intend to market your site, and what marketing methods
will you need. To rely totally on submission to the Search Engines is not going to be
sufficient.
